Job Title: Sales Service Engineer / After-Sales Service Engineer

Locations:

Bangalore, Lucknow, Chandigarh, Delhi, Pune, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Vijayawada

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated Sales Service Engineer to handle installation, commissioning, and after-sales service activities. The role involves site execution, customer support, troubleshooting, and contributing to regional after-sales business targets while ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Reporting To

Branch Service In-Charge / Department Head

Qualification

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Electrical & Electronics / Civil Engineering

Experience

  • Fresher to 5 years
  • Hands-on experience in project execution, installation, and service is preferred

Age Requirement

  • 22 to 30 years

Required Skills

Core Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to verify and interpret technical drawings
  • Strong site handling and coordination skills
  • Knowledge of RCA (Root Cause Analysis) and FMEA
  • Customer-oriented mindset
  • Result-driven approach aligned with KRAs

Technical / Soft Skills

  • Working knowledge of CRM tools
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Exposure to Power BI / Power Play is an advantage

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute installation, commissioning, handover, and project closure within defined timelines (OTE)
  • Provide timely responses and regular updates on site and project status to HO and customers
  • Resolve customer complaints and ensure closure with proper RCA documentation
  • Conduct KSP (Knowledge Sharing Programs) including installation, troubleshooting, and spares selection training for channel partners, service partners, and authorized installers
  • Manage regional after-sales service activities as per defined KRAs
  • Ensure closure of warranty and non-warranty service tickets within OTD
  • Conduct performance audits and service campaigns for supplied products
  • Achieve targeted after-sales business objectives aligned with organizational goals
  • Minimize QAR and Cost of Poor Quality, including FOC supplies
