Imaging Endpoints is based in Scottsdale, Arizona, with offices in Cambridge, Massachusetts; London, UK; Leiden, Netherlands; Basel, Switzerland; Hyderabad, India and Shanghai, China. Under the direction of the Associate Director Proposals and Marketing, the Sales Research Associate is primarily responsible for supporting the business development team through lead generation, client research, and market intelligence activities. This role involves identifying potential clients, gathering relevant company and contact information, and maintaining accurate data in CRM systems. The Sales Research Associate will collaborate closely with Business Development, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams to support outreach strategies, monitor industry trends, and contribute to the growth of sales opportunities. This position may interact with external stakeholders and vendors and will work collaboratively with internal teams across departments.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Market Research:
- Identify and analyze target markets, industries, and potential customers using online resources, databases, and reports.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and new market opportunities.
Lead Generation and Qualification:
- Identify and source new leads through research and data mining techniques.
- Qualify leads based on predefined criteria and ensure data accuracy in the CRM.
CRM Management (HubSpot):
- Maintain and update the HubSpot CRM with detailed and accurate information about leads, contacts, and accounts.
- Create reports and dashboards to track sales metrics and identify areas of improvement.
Collaboration and Support:
- Work closely with the sales team to provide actionable insights and support for client outreach and engagement strategies.
- Assist in preparing sales materials, presentations, and reports based on research findings.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the sales pipeline.
- Present research findings and recommendations to the sales and marketing leadership.
Perform the responsibilities of the Sales Research Associate as needed, plus the following additional responsibilities:
- Author proposals and perform QC of proposals authored by other team members.
- Coordinate with the proposal team to optimize proposal design by identifying and clarifying opportunities and needs described in RFPs and associated documentation. Integrate IE experience, key differentiators, and other industry best practices into proposals and presentations.
- Navigate and effectively collaborate with other departments and resources within IE.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelors degree in an applicable field; scientific and/or medical background preferred.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in pharmaceutical or a regulated industry.
- Minimum of 1+ years of experience in market research is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of the life sciences industry; knowledge of biopharma drug development processes, and knowledge of medical imaging preferred.
