Role Overview:-
The Sales Report Manager is responsible for managing, analyzing, and presenting sales data to support strategic decision-making. The role ensures accurate sales reporting, performance tracking, forecasting, and insights that improve sales efficiency and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:-
- Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports
- Track sales performance, targets, conversions, and revenue trends
- Analyze data from CRM, ERP, and sales tools to generate actionable insights
- Develop dashboards, MIS reports, and management presentations
- Monitor pipeline, order bookings, billing, collections, and margins
- Coordinate with sales, finance, and operations teams for data accuracy
- Support sales forecasting and budgeting activities
- Identify gaps, risks, and growth opportunities through data analysis
- Ensure data integrity, compliance, and timely reporting
- Automate reports and improve reporting efficiency where possible
Key Skills and Competencies:-
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets (pivot tables, formulas, dashboards)
- Experience with CRM tools (Zoho, Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
- Knowledge of Power BI / Tableau (preferred)
- Understanding of sales KPIs, funnels, and forecasting
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and presentation skills
Qualification:-
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Statistics, or related field
- 25 years of experience in sales reporting, MIS, or business analytics
- Experience in renewable energy, EPC, infrastructure, or B2B sales is an advantage
