Key Responsibilities:
Sales Planning Processes:
- Establish and lead comprehensive sales planning processes to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with Sales Partners to ensure full allocation of quotas across business lines and communicate sales plans effectively.
Data Management and Integrity:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for data input files related to sales planning, ensuring the integrity of data within sales planning systems.
- Manage and analyze key datasets, including sales performance metrics and territory definitions, to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Territory Planning and Management:
- Define and maintain territory definitions aligned with business objectives, ensuring territories are accurately loaded and maintained in Varicent.
- Conduct territory reviews in response to attrition or other ad-hoc business events as required.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders to understand their business challenges and opportunities, fostering collaboration across internal teams.
- Partner with the Sales Planning Analyst to load quota data into Varicent and ensure that end users can access necessary data and insights for effective planning.
Performance Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze territory performance metrics and assist with plan phasing, compiling necessary data to share with analytics and Power BI teams.
- Ensure relevant data/reporting loads into Varicent accurately and conduct user testing prior to phase releases for annual planning.
Tools and Technologies:
- Utilize Salesforce and other data analysis tools to drive strategic decision-making and sales performance.
- Maintain proficiency with workflow management software and project management tools to support organizational initiatives.
What Were Looking For:
- 3-5 years experience in Sales Planning or a related sales execution role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Expertise in deriving insights from data, account management principles, forecasting, and competitive intelligence analysis.
- Proven ability to work in a large organization and adapt to new systems and processes.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with experience managing cross-functional teams in a global, fast-paced environment.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on innovation and process improvement, capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
