Role Description
We are seeking a motivated Sales Officer for a full-time, on-site position at our Mohali/chandigarh district location. The Sales Officer will be responsible for identifying and generating leads, engaging with customers, building and maintaining strong relationships, and overseeing sales operations. This role involves managing channel sales and executing successful strategies to achieve sales targets while contributing to the overall growth.

Job Summary
As Sales officer,you will be responsible for expanding the retail footprint of our Farm Pure brand. Your primary focus will be on onboarding local retailers, kirana stores, and regional supermarket chains to stock our premium range of healthy snacks and staples, including Makhana, Sattu, and pulses.
Key Responsibilities
Retail Onboarding: Identify and visit potential retail outlets, grocery stores, and modern trade partners to pitch Farm Pure products.
Distribution Management: Coordinate with local distributors to ensure consistent stock availability across assigned territories.
Sales Targets: Achieve monthly and quarterly sales volume targets for key products like Special Phool Makhana and Chana Sattu.
Merchandising & Visibility: Ensure optimal product placement on retail shelves and execute in-store promotional activities to boost brand awareness.
Payment Collection: Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, including the timely collection of payments and reconciliation of accounts with retailers.
Market Intelligence: Provide regular feedback on competitor pricing, new product launches, and consumer preferences in the local market.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience: 13 years in FMCG field sales or agricultural product marketing within India.
Product Knowledge: Familiarity with the domestic demand for pulses, grains, and health-focused snacks like Makhana.
Communication: Fluency in Hindi and Punjabi is essential for negotiating with local business owners.
Travel: Must possess a valid two-wheeler license and be willing to conduct extensive daily field visits within the assigned region.
Skills: Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and basic proficiency in mobile-based sales reporting tools.
Performance-Based Incentive Structure
We offer a competitive base salary plus a performance-linked incentive plan designed to reward high achievers:
Volume-Based Incentives: Percentage-based commission on total sales exceeding the monthly baseline target.
Travel Allowance: Fixed daily fuel and vehicle maintenance allowance based on kilometers traveled.
Specific Responsibilities
Field Mapping: Execute a daily Beat Plan visiting 2530 retail counters.
Order Booking: book orders in real-time.
Shelf Share: Negotiate for eye-level shelf space and ensure Farm Pure branding materials (posters/danglers) are displayed.
Stock Rotation: Monitor First-In-First-Out (FIFO) at the retail level to ensure product freshness.
Candidate Requirements
Local Knowledge: Must have a strong understanding of the retail landscape in Chandigarh (Tricity) and of Punjab
Vehicle: Ownership of a two-wheeler and a valid driving license is mandatory.
Education: Minimum 12th Pass (Graduates preferred).
Attitude: High energy, feet-on-street mindset, and a passion for the FMCG/Health Food industry.
