Job Description

Job Title: Sales & Marketing Officer

Organization Type:NGO Women Empowerment & Livelihood Program

Location:South Delhi

Reports To:Program Manager / Director

Job Summary

The Sales & Marketing Officer will be responsible for promoting and selling products made by women beneficiaries of the NGO. The role includes developing online and offline sales channels, increasing brand visibility, identifying new markets, and contributing to new product ideas based on market demand. The goal is to generate sustainable income for women artisans and support the NGO's mission.

Key Responsibilities1. Sales Development (Online & Offline)
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue.
  • Identify and approach retailers, wholesalers, and corporate clients.
  • Organize stalls in exhibitions, fairs, and local markets.
  • Develop partnerships with boutiques, supermarkets, and gift shops.
  • Maintain sales records and prepare monthly sales reports.
2. Online Marketing & E-commerce
  • Manage social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp Business, etc.).
  • Create engaging content (product photos, reels, stories, testimonials).
  • List and manage products on e-commerce platforms (Amazon, Etsy, Shopify, etc.).
  • Handle customer inquiries and online orders.
  • Run promotional campaigns and digital advertisements (if budget allows).
3. Branding & Promotion
  • Develop product branding and packaging ideas.
  • Design promotional materials (brochures, catalogues, posters).
  • Share impact stories of women beneficiaries to attract customers.
  • Coordinate photo shoots and product descriptions.
4. Market Research & New Product Development
  • Conduct market research to understand trends and customer preferences.
  • Gather customer feedback to improve existing products.
  • Suggest new product ideas based on demand.
  • Analyze competitor products and pricing strategies.
5. Inventory & Coordination
  • Coordinate with production teams to ensure product availability.
  • Monitor stock levels and forecast demand.
  • Ensure quality standards are maintained.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (preferred).
  • 13 years experience in sales, marketing, or e-commerce.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing tools and social media management.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Creative mindset with ability to identify new product opportunities.
  • Passion for women empowerment and social impact.

  • Monthly and annual sales targets achieved.
  • Growth in online followers and engagement.
  • Number of new partnerships or retail outlets secured.
  • Introduction of successful new products.
