Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Establish market coverage, distribution channels, and product visibility under guidance from Head Sales.
- Focus on traditional channels to build distribution, visibility, and volumes.
- Create PJPs (Planned Job Plans) for Sales Officers and ensure adherence to targets.
- Appoint distributors to meet sales, coverage, and distribution objectives.
- Set primary and secondary sales targets town-wise and market-wise and monitor progress regularly.
- Track objectives monthly, weekly, and daily and maintain systematic reporting.
- Execute all market plans and coordinate marketing and brand activities in the assigned territory.
- Identify new retailer points and untapped markets to expand business.
- Collect customer feedback, conduct market research, and monitor competitor activities.
Team Management & Leadership
- Manage, develop, train, and motivate the sales force across territories.
- Conduct regular sales and business reviews to evaluate team performance.
- Ensure timely filling of vacancies in the sales team with HR support.
- Mentor team members to enhance productivity and achieve sales targets.
Customer & Stakeholder Management
- Handle customer complaints and trade-related issues promptly.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and channel partners.
- Strengthen client engagement and ensure satisfaction across the territory.
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare periodic reports for Head Sales on sales performance, coverage, and market insights.
- Utilize analytical tools, sales data, and business platforms for effective decision-making.
