Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Marketing Manager role based in New Delhi. The Sales Marketing Manager will develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to increase room bookings, event business, and overall revenue. Daily responsibilities include identifying and engaging corporate and travel agency clients, managing key accounts, and conducting regular sales visits and follow-ups. The role involves planning and implementing promotional campaigns, coordinating with digital and offline channels, and monitoring market trends and competitor activity. The Sales Marketing Manager will collaborate closely with front office, reservations, and operations teams to ensure consistent guest messaging, accurate rate and package communication, and effective upselling. The position also includes preparing sales reports, tracking performance against targets, maintaining a CRM or client database, and representing the hotel at local events, trade shows, or networking opportunities as needed.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in hotel or hospitality sales and marketing, preferably in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Strong skills in client relationship management, corporate sales, and account development, with the ability to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Knowledge of hospitality distribution channels, rate and inventory management basics, and familiarity with OTAs or booking platforms.
  • Ability to plan and execute marketing campaigns, including digital and offline initiatives, and analyze their effectiveness.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with a professional and customer-focused approach.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities, including handling multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfort with using MS Office tools and basic sales or CRM software; experience with hotel property management or sales systems is an advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Knowledge of the New Delhi hospitality market and local business environment is highly beneficial.
  • Ability to work on-site, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and maintain a professional demeanor with guests and partners.
