KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own full P&L for the Agri-ingredients portfolio with accountability for revenue, EBITDA targets, and distribution channel establishment
- Define and execute go-to-market strategy for new ingredient launches, including pricing architecture, supply agreement structures, and customer-facing value propositions by segment
- Identify and convert target customers across nutraceuticals, food additives, FMCG, and cosmetics while assessing new product opportunities and representing the business at key industry events
- Lead price negotiations and close supply agreements aligned to margin and volume objectives, supported by ongoing tracking of competitor pricing, market benchmarks, and demand shifts
- Advise customers on grade suitability, formulation relevance, and regulatory compliance (FSSAI, Halal, Non-GMO), coordinating internally on application trials, sample dispatch, and technical requirements
- Own the commercial pipeline with accountability for revenue forecasts, win/loss analysis, and monthly reporting, while providing market intelligence on emerging applications and competitor supply shifts
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years in B2B sales or business development within specialty ingredients, chemicals, or adjacent sectors (food, cosmetics, nutraceuticals, or pharma)
- Proven P&L ownership with hands-on experience in pricing negotiations and supply agreement structuring
- Strong network across Indian Tier I manufacturers and formulators, with working knowledge of FSSAI, Halal, and Non-GMO frameworks.
