We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales & Marketing Manager to lead the sales and marketing function for our two flour mills. The role involves building and managing a high-performance sales team, expanding market presence, developing distributor/trader relationships, driving institutional sales (bakeries, hotels, caterers, food processors), and strengthening our consumer brand presence.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Develop and execute sales strategies
- Identify, onboard, and manage traders, distributors, bakeries, HoReCa
- Drive private label and bulk sales with modern trade, quick commerce, and contract manufacturing opportunities.
- Build and monitor KPIs for sales executives (coverage, collections, conversions).
- Regularly review sales performance vs targets and take corrective actions.
Team Leadership
- Recruit, train, and manage the sales & marketing team (executives, field officers).
- Set clear targets, provide guidance, and motivate the team beyond monetary incentives.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Marketing & Branding
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns (flyers, brochures, WhatsApp promotions, local events).
- Work with design teams for packaging, brand awareness, and promotional materials.
- Manage digital presence (social media, Google Ads, etc.) in coordination with agencies.
- Differentiate strategies for Belgaum Hubli Goa (local/traders) vs Bangalore (large market, competitive, institutional focus).
Customer Relationship & Market Intelligence
- Maintain strong relationships with traders, distributors
- Collect and analyze market intelligence on competitors, pricing, and customer trends.
- Provide regular reports and insights to management for decision-making.
Administration & Reporting
- Forecast demand and coordinate with production for planning.
- Ensure timely collections and resolve customer issues.
- Submit weekly/monthly reports on sales, team performance, and market updates.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 510 years experience in FMCG / Food / Flour Milling / Agri-commodities sales.
- Proven experience in B2B (traders, bakeries, institutions) and B2C (retail/distributors).
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Ability to travel extensively across Karnataka and Goa.

Based in Bangalore with frequent travel to both factories Bangalore and Belgaum and key markets of Goa, Karnataka
