Responsibilities:
Market Development:
· Collate relevant data through market research to facilitate in developing pricing strategies
· Negotiate contracts with Customer and distributors to manage product distribution,
· Prepare and communicate MIS like - sales forecasting, dispatch planning, market share, competition mapping, receivables end use segment trend to facilitate business decision.
· Ensure and maintain continual engagement with key clients, specific industry players, agencies and Channel Partners.
· Study and report through market intelligence initiatives on assigned region.
· Actively seek out new business opportunities through various media including networking and social media
· Compile and update list of product offers and make information readily available.
· Research client base to find new types of customers and identify opportunities to increase sales.
· Undertake market mapping activities, identify potential clients and support in creating a plan to gain new customers.
· Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams
2. Sales & Marketing:
· Implement strategy for product positioning & communication of offerings. Prepare Sales Plan based on Target Plan assigned for geography by Corporate Office.
· Secure Orders / Business as per Pricing & Incoterm Guidelines by Corporate office.
· Monitor & ensure collection of payment.
· Ensure necessary Documentation pertaining to A.I.L. and government specifics are complied
· Participate in exhibitions, seminars and branding initiatives to promote products and realize market potential
· Track and report market trends and implement approved strategies for better price realization of existing products
· Schedules of appointments and meetings with clients as necessary
· Support technical team in new product development initiatives by providing relevant data consolidated through market study
· Ensure existing and new products comply to SHE standards
· Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services
· Coordinate for preparing technical literature for information of customer viz. Product Data Sheet.
· Ensure sales and profitability of products as per defined targets and monitor market trends.
· Track, update and report marketing budget
· Follow-through and ensure timely resolution of customer complaints and report status on monthly basis.
· Implement approved initiatives and actions to retain customer
· Implement timely actions and initiate steps towards customer delight
· Ensure tracking of sales, new enquiries and maintain log of customer complaint with resolution and update stakeholders.
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Chemistry, or a related field (Master'sdegree is a plus).
EXPERIENCE: 3-5 years of experience in sales roles within thechemical industry, with a focus on Phenol, and solvent sales.
