Job Description

Woxsen University, one of India's premier private universities ranked among the top institutions in Asia-Pacific, is seeking an accomplished sales leader to join Woxsen Foresight as Head of Corporate Alignment. This senior position is dedicated to driving revenue generation through corporate partnerships, executive education program sales, and endowment development. The role holder will be responsible for achieving ambitious revenue targets while representing Woxsen University with the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.

Location: Hyderabad, Telangana

Revenue Target: ₹2 Crore annually

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Leadership (20%)

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets across corporate partnerships, executive education enrollments, and endowments
  • Create structured account plans for top 50 target companies in priority industries
  • Build and maintain relationships with C-suite executives and key decision-makers
  • Identify emerging market opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them
  • Collaborate with university leadership to align revenue generation efforts with institutional goals

Corporate Partnership Development (30%)

  • Lead end-to-end business development processes for Platinum and Gold tier corporate partnerships (₹15-25 lakhs+)
  • Design customized partnership proposals addressing specific corporate needs
  • Negotiate complex agreements with favorable terms for both parties
  • Establish long-term strategic relationships with corporate partners beyond transactional engagements
  • Convert one-time corporate clients into recurring revenue stream

Executive Education Sales (25%)

  • Drive enrollment in flagship executive education programs through corporate channels
  • Identify and secure opportunities for custom corporate training programs (₹15 lakhs+ per program)
  • Articulate value proposition of Woxsen's executive education offerings to senior executives
  • Collaborate with program delivery team to ensure alignment between sales promises and program execution
  • Develop innovative pricing and packaging strategies to maximize revenue

Endowment and Sponsorship Generation (15%)

  • Secure major endowments from corporations and high-net-worth individuals
  • Develop compelling cases for support aligned with donors strategic objectives
  • Cultivate relationships with potential donors through strategic engagement
  • Work with university leadership on naming opportunities and recognition strategies
  • Ensure proper stewardship of donor relationships for long-term sustainability

Team Collaboration (10%)

  • Work closely with the Director of Woxsen Foresight on overall strategy alignment

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

Revenue Generation:

  • ₹2 Crore annual revenue target, with quarterly milestones
  • Minimum of 2 Platinum partnerships (₹25 lakhs+ each) annually
  • Minimum of 4 Gold partnerships (₹15 lakhs each) annually
  • Secure at least 1 major endowment (₹25 lakhs+) annually

Pipeline Development:

Maintain active pipeline of 3x annual target value

Generate minimum 20 qualified corporate leads per month

Achieve 25% conversion rate on qualified opportunities

Reduce average sales cycle to under 90 days

Relationship Building:

Establish relationships with minimum 100 C-suite executives

Achieve 80% retention rate for corporate partnerships

Secure 5 corporate testimonials/case studies per quarter

Generate 10 referrals from existing partners annually

Executive Education Enrollment:

Drive corporate enrollment for 15 participants per flagship program

Secure 4 custom corporate programs annually (₹15 lakhs+ each)

Achieve 90% fill rate for all executive education offerings

Maintain corporate participant satisfaction score of 4.5/5

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Experience & Qualifications

10+ years of progressive experience in B2B sales, business development, or corporate partnerships

Proven track record of consistently achieving ₹2+ crore annual revenue targets

Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred

Experience selling high-value programs/services to C-suite executives

Demonstrated success in higher education, professional services, or management consulting sectors

Strong network of corporate connections in South/Central India

Experience with CRM systems and sales pipeline management

Outstanding presentation, negotiation, and closing skills

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in higher education or executive education sales
  • Understanding of corporate Learning & Development functions and budgeting processes
  • Experience with endowment development or fundraising
  • Knowledge of industries aligned with Woxsen's strengths (Business, Technology, Design)

Familiarity with Hyderabad/Telangana business environment
