Sales Executive / Sales Manager — Telecom Services

Vinay Enterprises | Ahmedabad | Full-time, Field Role

About the Role

We are hiring an experienced sales professional from the telecommunications industry to drive the sale of enterprise connectivity solutions across Ahmedabad and surrounding markets. You will be responsible for acquiring new business customers, managing key accounts, and growing revenue across our portfolio of services including Internet Leased Lines, MPLS, SD-WAN, and other enterprise telecom offerings.

This is a field sales role suited to someone who already understands the enterprise telecom space, knows how decision-makers in IT and operations buy, and enjoys building long-term customer relationships.

What You'll Do
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities for enterprise connectivity services across Ahmedabad and nearby markets
  • Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting and discovery to commercial negotiation and closure
  • Conduct client meetings, understand connectivity requirements, and propose suitable solutions
  • Coordinate with technical and operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and delivery for new customers
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing accounts to drive renewals and identify upsell opportunities
  • Maintain accurate pipeline data in our CRM and provide regular sales forecasts to leadership
  • Stay updated on competitor offerings, pricing trends, and emerging requirements in the telecom space
What Success Looks Like

In the first 12 months, success in this role would typically look like:

  • Closing a steady pipeline of new enterprise connectivity deals across Internet Leased Lines, MPLS, and related services, with monthly and quarterly targets met consistently
  • Building a strong, named target account list for Ahmedabad and surrounding markets, with clear progress on each account documented in the CRM
  • Maintaining healthy pipeline coverage of 3x to 4x against quarterly targets, giving leadership confidence in the forecast
  • Establishing meaningful relationships with IT decision-makers, procurement heads, and facility managers across at least 25 to 30 enterprise accounts in the first year
  • Achieving smooth handoffs to the technical and operations teams so that closed deals are onboarded without delays or escalations
  • Bringing useful market intelligence back to the team — competitor pricing, customer pain points, emerging service requirements — and helping shape how we go to market
  • Demonstrating renewal and upsell success on accounts you own, not just net-new logo wins
Who We're Looking For

Must-haves

  • 3 to 8 years of sales experience in the telecommunications industry
  • Direct experience selling Internet Leased Lines, MPLS, SD-WAN, or related enterprise connectivity products
  • Graduate degree (MBA preferred but not mandatory if industry experience is strong)
  • Strong communication skills in English, Hindi, and Gujarati
  • Comfortable with field travel within and around Ahmedabad
  • Working knowledge of CRM tools and standard sales reporting

Strong-to-have

  • Prior experience with telecom service providers such as Airtel, Tata Teleservices, GTPL, Sify, Reliance Jio Business, Vodafone Idea Business, or similar organisations
  • Established relationships with IT decision-makers, procurement teams, or facility heads in Ahmedabad and nearby markets
  • Experience handling enterprise account renewals and upselling additional services
  • Familiarity with system integrator or channel partner ecosystems in the telecom industry
