We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead and develop our sales team, drive revenue growth, and expand our market presence in India. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in sales management and a deep understanding of the Indian market.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals, fostering a high-performance sales culture.
- Identify new business opportunities, cultivate client relationships, and negotiate complex sales deals.
- Monitor sales performance, analyze market trends, and prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
- Manage key accounts and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Stay updated on industry developments, competitor activities, and market conditions.
- Develop and manage sales budgets and allocate resources effectively.
- Represent Tvh India Private Ltd at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 4-5 years of progressive sales experience, with at least 2-3 years in a sales management role within the industrial equipment, material handling, or similar B2B sector.
- Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Thorough understanding of the Indian market dynamics and business practices.
- Ability to travel frequently within India as required.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Tamil, Hindi and/or other regional Indian languages is a strong advantage.
