Job Description

Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Area Sales Manager for our LAP (Loan Against Property) division in Pune. This role is responsible for driving sales, managing a team, and achieving business targets within the assigned territory.

Job Responsibilities**

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed LAP sales targets in the Pune region.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales executives to maximize their potential and performance.
  • Identify and acquire new customers while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients and channel partners.
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, prepare regular reports, and provide insights to management.
  • Collaborate with credit, operations, and other internal teams to ensure smooth processing and customer satisfaction.
  • Organize and participate in sales promotional activities and events to enhance brand visibility and lead generation.
  • Manage and resolve customer queries and complaints effectively and efficiently.

Job Qualifications**

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sales, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role within the LAP or mortgage industry.
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of the Pune market and local real estate landscape.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead, train, and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area.
