Job Description – Sales Manager / Account Manager (IT Services)

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager / Account Manager to drive growth across Enterprise and Emerging accounts. The role focuses on account expansion, customer success, strategic sales, and executive stakeholder management within the IT Services and IT Staffing domain.

Key Responsibilities

1. Account Growth & Retention

  • Own and grow Enterprise and Emerging accounts through proactive client engagement.
  • Identify and drive cross-sell and up-sell opportunities across IT Staffing and Managed Services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with CXOs, Delivery Heads, and key decision-makers.
  • Achieve quarterly and annual revenue and margin targets.

2. Customer Success & Delivery Alignment

  • Act as the primary point of contact for client relationship management.
  • Partner with delivery and recruitment teams to ensure timely and quality fulfillment.
  • Monitor CSAT/NPS and drive customer satisfaction improvements.
  • Handle client escalations and ensure timely resolution.

3. Sales Strategy & Account Management

  • Develop account plans, growth strategies, and revenue forecasts.
  • Manage contract renewals, pricing discussions, and contract extensions.
  • Collaborate with Presales, Delivery, and Recruitment teams to deliver customized solutions.
  • Track market trends and competitor activities within assigned accounts.

4. GTM & Market Expansion (Good to Have)

  • Support Go-To-Market (GTM) initiatives and expansion into new geographies, particularly the US market.
  • Contribute to proposals, RFP responses, QBRs, and governance meetings.

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of IT Services including Cloud, Infrastructure, AI & Analytics, ERP, CRM, Security, and Digital Technologies.
  • Proven expertise in Enterprise and Emerging account growth.
  • Strong client relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong business acumen with a consultative sales approach.

Experience & Qualifications

  • 8–12 years of experience in Account Management, Customer Success, or Sales within IT Staffing or IT Services.
  • Demonstrated track record of account growth and revenue achievement.
  • Good understanding of staffing models including Contract, Contract-to-Hire, Permanent Hiring, and Managed Services.
  • Experience engaging with CXO-level and senior client stakeholders globally.
  • Exposure to GTM planning, US market expansion, or solution-based IT Services sales is preferred.
