Are you a commercially-driven B2B Sales professional with a strong hunter mindset, looking for a role where you can build and grow a territory with real autonomy and impact At Sibelco, you'll take ownership of sales growth in India, developing new opportunities, strengthening customer partnerships and helping industrial customers find the right solutions. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for achieving maximum profitable growth and sales objectives (volume, Net Sales and Gross Margin) in line with Sibelco's vision, strategic objectives and policies within your assigned geographic sub-regional area. You will be fully accountable for the sales of Sibelco group products, coming from plants across the globe, within your geographic sub-region. You will identify new sales opportunities, commercialize new products and develop sales into new applications in cooperation with the Technical Sales Manager. You will understand the market and key players active in the sub-region and build the necessary market intelligence to retain and extend the Customer portfolio.

Your Impact In this Role

As Sales Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Visit customers and potential customers, find and develop new opportunities to achieve the highest value
  • Develop an understanding of the products that will help to sell formulation solutions
  • Produce accurate visit reports for all visits and calls and keep customer data updated in CRM and other databases
  • Develop a thorough grasp of the market, including customer needs, competitors, trends, impact of local legislation
  • Develop and achieve budgeted sales targets year after year
  • Set prices and payment terms in line with Sibelco's pricing and payment structures for the region and application and achieve the end financial target; receivables, payment terms
  • Map competition to identify their strengths and weaknesses
  • Provide operations and supply chain with on time information to schedule the activities for the short/medium/long term period

What You Bring To The Table

  • Bachelor's degree or Equivalent in Economics, Marketing. A degree in Mineral Science or Metallurgy will be given priority
  • At least 7 years experience in an industrial B2B sales role (industrial minerals preferred)
  • Strong commercial drive with a hunter mindset and proven ability to identify and develop new opportunities
  • English proficient verbal & writing
  • Hindi (local language of the country of base and main operations) proficient verbal & writing
  • Other languages are an asset

About The Role

This role is based in Balanagar (Hyderabad reference location) and covers India, with customer travel required. You will collaborate closely with the Technical Sales Manager as well as operations and supply chain to support business growth and customer delivery.
