Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electronics, Instrumentation, or Electrical).
- An MBA in Sales or Marketing is highly preferred.
Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Manager to lead our sales initiatives in the Industrial Automation, Software, and IIoT sectors. With a focus on digital transformation and smart manufacturing, the ideal candidate will be responsible for driving Year-on-Year (YoY) revenue growth, managing a high-performing sales team, and strengthening our footprint across key industrial segments.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve ambitious YoY business targets and expand market share.
- Team Management: Mentor, coach, and lead a regional sales team, ensuring high levels of motivation, discipline, and performance.
- Market Expansion: Identify and capitalize on emerging trends in IIoT, Digital Transformation, and Industry 4.0 to create new revenue streams.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain C-level relationships with key customers, ensuring long-term partnerships and high customer retention.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Oversee the end-to-end sales cycle, from lead generation and solution architecting to final negotiations and closing.
Candidate Profile
- Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience in technical sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the Industrial Automation or Software industry.
- Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of PLC/SCADA, MES, IIoT platforms, and industrial software solutions.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales quotas consistently in a B2B environment.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to present complex technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
- Personality:
- Extrovert: Naturally skilled at networking and building rapport with diverse industrial clients.
- Disciplined: Highly organized with a methodical approach to sales processes and reporting.
- Mobility: High willingness to travel across regions to meet customers and support the field team.
