Sales Manager - B2B
Location : Bangalore, Hyderabad, Gurgaon, Mumbai
About the Role : As a Sales Manager, your role encompasses both customer acquisition and customer success management. Your primary responsibility is to drive customer acquisition, increase wallet share within the assigned market, and ensure the success and satisfaction of customers.
Educational & Experience Requirements
- Graduation in any discipline from a reputed institute.
- MBA in Marketing or related field is preferred.
- Assistant Manager (AM): 3 to 5 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or Customer Acquisition within a B2B environment.
- Sales Manager (SM): 8 to 12 years of relevant B2B sales experience.
- Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of sales processes, enterprise selling, and customer acquisition strategies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM platforms and other sales productivity tools.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategy and Planning
- Develop and execute a comprehensive customer acquisition and success strategy to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Identify target customer segments and develop effective strategies to reach and engage them.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, preferences, and market trends.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and support teams to align strategies with business objectives.
2. Lead Generation and Conversion
- Generate leads through various channels including online and offline campaigns, events, partnerships, and referrals.
- Develop and implement lead nurturing strategies to convert leads into qualified opportunities.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to closure.
- Conduct presentations, product demonstrations, and commercial negotiations.
3. Relationship Building
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target organizations.
- Understand customer requirements and pain points, and present tailored business solutions.
- Act as a trusted advisor by providing continuous guidance and support during both sales and post-sales engagement.
4. Sales Performance Tracking and Reporting
- Monitor and track sales performance metrics including revenue targets, conversion rates, and customer acquisition costs.
- Analyze sales and customer success data to identify trends, insights, and improvement opportunities.
- Prepare periodic reports on sales activities, progress against targets, and market feedback.
