Job Description

The role will involve working closely with Architects & Interior designers to promote Lighting solutions in the residential segment which includes villas, apartments, and luxury homes.

With lighting controls gaining prominence, it will be necessary for the person to additionally understand the smart lighting concepts in order to make an effective pitch to the client.

Following will be the responsibilities:

Sales Strategy Development :

Developing and Implementing sales strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives

Sales Performance Analysis :

Analyzing sales data and performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies and make data-driven decisions to improve results

Sales Process Improvement:

Continuously reviewing and optimizing the sales process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. This may involve identifying areas for improvement, implementing new sales tools or technologies, and streamlining workflows

Customer Relationship management:

Cultivating and maintaining relationships with key customers, and stakeholders viz. architects, interior/lighting designers, Lighting Designers to strengthen the company's market position and identify potential sales opportunities.

Market Research :

Staying abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify potential business opportunities and anticipate challenges Sales Reporting: Preparing regular sales reports and presentations for the sr management team, providing insights into sales performance and achieve overall business objectives

Sales Forecasting:

Creating sales forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and upcoming product launches or promotions

Compliance and Ethics:

Ensuring that the sales team operates within legal and ethical guidelines

REQUIREMENTS

Experience: 7-12 years of experience in sales with a proven track record of achieving sales targets with minimum 2+years of recent experience in the lighting industry in the residential space Strategic Thinking : The ability to develop and execute strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives. Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are crucial for interacting with the sales team, senior management, clients and other stakeholders Negotiation Skills : Strong negotiation skills are essential to secure deals and maintain profitable relationships

Analytical Skills : Proficiency in analyzing sales data and performance metrics to make informed decisions and adjustments to sales strategies

Customer Focus : A strong customer-centric approach is vital in understanding the customer need and building relationships

Industry Knowledge : A good understanding of the industry in which the company operates, Including market trends, competitors and customer behavior

Networking and Relationship Building: The ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and industry contacts

Ethical Conduct: An understanding of ethical business practices and compliance standards is critical, as there might be access & exposure to sensitive customer information and strategic plans
