Job Responsibilities
· Responsible for generating and qualifying leads in the cross-border e-commerce and other segments requiring a cross-border payments platform.
· Effectively pitch and acquire new customers for the core company product as well as new product launches.
· Execute the business development plan, achieve and exceed the targeted sales goals.
· Co-ordinate with multiple teams like marketing and product within the organization for achieving the required goals.
· Create your own support system to increase conversions by onboarding potential affiliates.
· Travel to explore new markets and segments for the company.
· Build positive relationships with customers to sustain the business. Meet with customers to discuss their evolving needs and assess the quality of our company's relationship with them.
· Share regular performance updates with the line manager.
· Participate in productive business discussions and contribute ideas for growing the business.
· Share valuable business-related suggestions with the management team for a long-lasting impact.
· Be innovative and bring new plans for business growth, retention, and brand value.
· Initiate and cultivate these plans within the team, take on long and short-term projects, collaborate with teams, and deliver results.
· Bring on new Affiliate Partners for business and marketing growth, and scale relationships with them.
· Create your own ecosystem of support with a long-term business vision in mind.
· Work with the Marketing Team for the effective execution of planned activities or suggest new efforts and ideas in marketing that boost or empower the sales process.
· Prepare customer feedback and requirement reports to assist the product team in making changes or creating new markets and offerings.
Qualification
· Bachelor's degree preferably in business. Master's degree preferred.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills in English is a MUST.
· 3+ years of professional experience in Business Development/Account Management/ Sales Experience; cross-border fintech experience is a plus.
· Have excellent interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively with external clients as well as internal stakeholders. Must possess intense customer focus.
· Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results through influence and negotiation.
