The Customer Acquisition Manager (CAM/Sr. CAM) is responsible for acquiring new MSME clients for Loan Against Property (LAP) products through direct channels and driving sales growth. This is a target-driven, field-based role requiring strong market presence, relationship management, and coordination across internal teams to ensure seamless loan processing and disbursement.
Key Responsibilities:
Sourcing & Lead Generation
- Identify and acquire new MSME customers through field visits, telecalling, references, micro-marketing activities, and local market research.
- Build a strong local market presence to generate a steady pipeline of secured LAP business leads.
- Develop and manage a profitable customer pool of 25 MSME clients as a Key Account Manager (KAM).
- Handle the complete customer lifecycle including service queries, renewals, top-ups, and statements of account (SOA).
File Login & Application Processing
- Collect accurate customer documentation and ensure timely loan application login.
- Guide customers through eligibility assessment, documentation, and internal policy compliance.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Coordinate with Credit, Risk, Operations, Legal, and Technical teams for smooth file processing.
- Act as the single point of contact for internal follow-ups and ensure end-to-end loan application execution.
Disbursement & Post-Sales Follow-Up
- Track loan application status and ensure timely disbursement by resolving process bottlenecks.
- Explain disbursement terms and assist clients with post-loan servicing and queries.
Relationship Building & Client Retention
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to promote repeat business and referrals.
- Engage regularly with clients to understand their evolving needs and offer suitable financial solutions.
Proactive On-Ground Outreach
- Conduct regular field visits to rural and semi-urban areas to identify potential loan customers and explain products.
- Assist customers through application and documentation processes while ensuring adherence to RBI and internal KYC norms.
- Lead recovery efforts for delinquent borrowers through on-ground visits, assessing financial conditions, and negotiating repayment plans in line with RBI guidelines.
Early Bucket PDM and Collection Management
- Drive portfolio quality by managing pre-delinquency and early collection efforts through customer contact, reminders, and field visits.
- Support in collecting overdue amounts, including penal charges and late payment interest.
Qualification & Experience:
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, Science, or a related field (mandatory).
- 15 years of experience in Banking, NBFC, or Insurance sectors, preferably in a direct acquisition model.
- Prior experience in selling Home Loans (HL) or Loan Against Property (LAP) preferred.
