Job Description: Sales Manager – IT Services / Software Sales

Role Overview
We are looking for a highly driven and consultative Sales Manager to lead end-to-end sales for IT services and software solutions.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of technology services and a proven track record of generating, managing, and closing high-value deals across domestic and global markets.
This role requires a balance of execution, ownership, and strategic thinking, with direct impact on revenue growth and business expansion.
Key Responsibilities
● Generate and qualify new business opportunities
● Manage complete sales cycle (lead generation → discovery → proposal → negotiation → closure)
● Build and maintain strong sales pipeline
● Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with business goals
● Contribute to pricing, positioning, and market expansion initiatives
● Engage with clients to understand requirements and propose solutions
● Work closely with delivery, design, and technical teams for solution alignment
● Drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets
● Support and guide BA & BDEs where required
● Provide concise and insightful daily, weekly and monthly reports to VP, CEO and MD detailing key wins, challenges, market trends, and strategic recommendations for global expansion.
Required Skills & Qualifications
● Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science (preferred)
● Minimum 5+ years in IT Services/Software sales
● Proven experience in closing technical deals and project management
● Understanding of web, mobile, SaaS, and cloud solutions
● Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
● Ability to translate technical offerings into business value
Preferred Profile
● Experience working with domestic and international clients (US/UK/APAC)
● Strong network in IT services / startup ecosystem
● Ability to work independently in a target-driven environment
● Blend of hunter (new business) + closer (deal execution) mindset
● Project Management, Scrum Master or Six Sigma Certificates
