Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Sales Manager to lead our Loan Against Property (LAP) sales efforts in Surat. This role involves driving business growth, managing a team of sales professionals, and ensuring exceptional customer service in the LAP segment.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed LAP sales targets in the Surat region.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of LAP Sales Executives, providing regular coaching, training, and performance feedback.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with key channel partners, builders, real estate agents, and other relevant stakeholders to generate new business opportunities.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new product development or sales opportunities.
- Oversee the entire LAP sales cycle, from lead generation and client acquisition to loan application, processing, and disbursement, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Monitor and review sales performance, preparing regular reports for senior management on sales progress, challenges, and forecasts.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by resolving client queries and concerns effectively and promptly.
- Collaborate with credit, operations, and other internal departments to streamline processes and enhance customer experience.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline management.
- Stay updated with industry best practices, product knowledge, and regulatory changes in the LAP market.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in sales, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial or team lead role within the Loan Against Property (LAP) or mortgage finance sector.
- Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of the LAP product, credit assessment processes, and relevant market dynamics in Surat.
- Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong ethical standards and a customer-centric approach.
- Knowledge of the local Surat market and network is highly desirable.
