Kotak Mahindra Prime Limited (KMPL), a subsidiary of Kotak Mahindra Bank Limited, has been a prominent car finance company in India since 1996. The company offers financing for new and pre-owned passenger cars and two-wheelers for retail consumers, along with wholesale financing for automobile dealerships. Since 2022, KMPL has expanded its product suite to include Loans Against Property for commercial and residential real estate. With a robust presence across 24 Indian states, KMPL operates through 134 branches and a wide network of direct marketing associates and agencies, supported by partnerships with major automobile manufacturers.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Sales Manager role located in Mangalore, TAS. The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales within their assigned territory, managing and nurturing a strong relationship with automobile dealerships, and achieving monthly sales targets. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, monitoring market trends, and implementing strategies to grow the customer base. Additionally, the Sales Manager will mentor sales teams, ensure compliance with company policies, and provide exceptional customer service to foster trust and loyalty among clients.

Qualifications

  • Strong sales and business development skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and meet targets.
  • Relationship management skills, particularly with automobile dealerships and stakeholders, to nurture long-term partnerships.
  • Knowledge of financial products such as car financing, two-wheeler loans, and Loans Against Property is preferred.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills for successful client interactions and deals.
  • Leadership abilities to guide and motivate sales teams, along with problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in using sales software or CRM tools is an advantage.
  • Prior experience in sales management within the automotive finance or banking sector is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Finance, or a related field is desirable.
