Job Description

Job Title: Sales Manager – IT Sales, Enterprise Sales

Location: Chennai only

Experience: 5 to 10 years

Budget: upto 1,50,000/- per month (up to 15% to 25% on your current ctc)

Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Sales Professional with 5+ years of experience in selling IT products, solutions, and services in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales, building client relationships, and expanding market reach within the IT sector. The role involves working closely with clients to understand their needs and providing tailored IT solutions, including software, cloud solutions, cybersecurity, and managed services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities for IT products and services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with enterprise clients, SMEs, and channel partners.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive insights, and potential leads.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Present, demonstrate, and pitch IT solutions to key decision-makers (CTOs, CIOs, IT Heads, etc.).
  • Collaborate with the pre-sales, technical and marketing teams to align solutions with customer needs.
  • Keep up to date with the latest IT technologies and industry developments.
  • Meet and exceed assigned sales quotas and KPIs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5 + years of experience in IT sales, preferably in software, cybersecurity, or managed IT services.
  • Strong knowledge of IT products and solutions, including:
  • Cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • SaaS/PaaS/IaaS solutions
  • ERP, CRM, and enterprise software solutions
  • Cybersecurity solutions (firewalls, endpoint security, etc.)
  • Networking & infrastructure solutions
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Experience using CRM tools (Salesforce would be a plus).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.
