Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our business development efforts in the transport outsourcing sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building strong client relationships, and positioning our company as a trusted partner for logistics and transportation outsourcing solutions.
Key Responsibilities -
Business Development
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in transport outsourcing.
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
Expand client base across industries such as manufacturing, retail, e-commerce, education, IT, ITES.
Possess strong market intelligence and leverage insights to nurture client relationships (farming) and drive deal closures within prescribed turnaround times (TAT).
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients.
Understand client needs and provide tailored outsourcing solutions.
Negotiate contracts and ensure customer satisfaction.
Market Analysis
Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
Provide insights to management for strategic decision-making.
Pricing
Develop and implement competitive pricing strategies aligned with market trends and company objectives.
Analyse cost structures and client requirements to propose profitable yet value-driven pricing models.
Ability to balance profitability with client satisfaction through effective pricing decisions.
Experience in contract negotiation and rate structuring.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
5+ years of experience in sales, preferably in logistics, transport, or fleet outsourcing industries.
Strong understanding of pricing models in logistics and transport outsourcing.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to build trust and credibility with clients at all levels.
Knowledge of transport operations and outsourcing models is a plus.
Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office Suite.
