Key Responsibilities Sales & Revenue Generation
- Identify, develop, and maintain new and existing business accounts to achieve revenue targets.
- Focus on key segments such as Corporate, SME, Travel Agents, OTAs, Airlines, and Local Accounts.
- Prepare and implement a comprehensive sales action plan in line with hotel budgets.
- Conduct regular sales calls, client meetings, and site inspections.
- Negotiate contracts, rates, and agreements within approved guidelines.
Account Management & Relationships
- Build strong relationships with key corporate clients and travel partners.
- Maintain accurate client records and account history in IHG systems.
- Ensure repeat business through consistent follow-ups and service delivery.
- Coordinate with Front Office and Operations teams to ensure guest expectations are met.
Market & Business Development
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies.
- Participate in sales blitzes, roadshows, trade fairs, and networking events as required.
- Identify local market opportunities to maximize weekday and off-peak occupancy.
Reporting & Administration
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Track sales performance against targets and take corrective action where needed.
- Ensure all contracts and documentation comply with IHG policies.
- Update sales activities and pipelines regularly.
Brand & Compliance
- Adhere to Holiday Inn Express brand standards and IHG policies.
- Maintain high standards of professionalism and ethical conduct.
- Support hotel audits, brand reviews, and compliance requirements.
Desired Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Result-oriented with a proactive sales approach.
- Good knowledge of local market and hospitality sales dynamics.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office and hotel sales systems (IHG tools preferred).
