Job Description

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in government sales (Mandatory skill)
  • Proven experience in software sales (Mandatory skill)
  • Proven experience in IT sales (Mandatory skill)
  • Excellent sales skills with a strong record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Experience in SaaS sales, particularly within the government sector
  • Strong understanding of the government procurement process and regulatory environment
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to drive initiatives and achieve goals.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives for government sector market penetration and revenue growth
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the government sector
  • Manage and grow relationships with key government clients and stakeholders
  • Lead contract negotiations and coordinate with legal and finance teams to finalize agreements
  • Track and report sales metrics, providing regular updates to senior management
  • Collaborate with product development and marketing teams to align sales strategies with market needs
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of the companys products and services as well as competitors offerings
  • Ensure compliance with all government regulations and corporate policies.
