Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Chennai for a Sales Manager. The Sales Manager will oversee and drive all sales activities to achieve revenue targets, develop strong relationships with clients, and identify new business opportunities to maximize hotel profitability. Responsibilities include creating and implementing sales plans, coordinating with the marketing and operations teams, managing key accounts, analyzing sales data and market trends, conducting meetings with clients, and representing the hotel at industry events. Additionally, the individual will play a key role in maintaining competitive positioning in the market by exploring partnerships and fostering customer satisfaction.

Qualifications
  • Sales and customer relationship skills, including account management and business development
  • Marketing and promotional planning skills to support revenue generation efforts
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data, market trends, and performance metrics
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build and maintain positive client relationships
  • Proven ability to meet sales targets and manage budgets effectively
  • Leadership and team management skills to guide and motivate the sales team
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms and sales software
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field
  • Previous experience in the hospitality, travel, or service sectors is a strong advantage
  • Knowledge of the Chennai market and industry contacts is preferred
