DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES | About the role

The Sales Manager is responsible for driving profitable business growth by managing the complete sales lifecycle-from lead qualification to closure-while ensuring strong pipeline hygiene, partner engagement, and alignment with vendor expectations.

This role will report to the Business Unit Head

As The Sales Manager, You Will

Sales Pipeline & Funnel Management

  • Develop, maintain, and manage a minimum 3X qualified sales funnel aligned with vendor-assigned revenue targets, including AlgoSec solutions.
  • Conduct fortnightly pipeline review meetings with the vendor team to track progress, risks, and closures.
  • Ensure all deal registrations, particularly for AlgoSec opportunities, and CRM updates are accurate, complete, and submitted in a timely manner.
  • Lead Management & Customer Engagement
  • Qualify leads generated through cold calling, inbound inquiries, marketing campaigns, and partner referrals.
  • Drive positioning and presentation of vendor solutions, including AlgoSec, independently-engaging senior leadership (C-level) or technical pre-sales teams when required, especially for strategic or complex accounts.
  • Proposal & Solutioning Support
  • Prepare or supervise the development of quotations and commercial proposals, ensuring correct scoping of AlgoSec offerings where applicable.
  • Coordinate and qualify Proof of Concepts (POCs), demo environments, and pre-sales engagements in collaboration with vendor and technical teams.
  • POC Management
  • Define clear POC objectives aligned with customer business and security outcomes, particularly for AlgoSec implementations.
  • Ensure adherence to the standard two-week demo/loan period unless otherwise approved.
  • Track, manage, and report demo unit utilization and POC status on a monthly basis.
  • Partner & Vendor Management
  • Manage and engage key stakeholders across assigned lines of business, including AlgoSec vendor representatives.
  • Identify, enable, and develop Focus Partners to drive AlgoSec pipeline growth and revenue contribution.
  • Conduct partner update sessions, enablement workshops, and periodic training programs.
  • Marketing Collaboration
  • Define measurable objectives for marketing investments related to AlgoSec and other vendor initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with internal marketing teams and partners to execute campaigns, webinars, and demand-generation programs.
  • Certifications & Compliance
  • Attain and maintain required vendor sales certifications, including AlgoSec certifications where applicable.
  • Ensure strict compliance with vendor governance policies, reporting standards, and deal registration guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE | About you

The Ideal Sales Manager

  • 1-3 years of experience in inside sales, sales coordination, or sales support roles within the IT/technology sector.
  • Exposure to or working knowledge of AlgoSec solutions is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with effective cross-functional coordination abilities.
  • Fundamental understanding of sales processes, pipeline management, and CRM systems.
  • Demonstrated discipline in follow-ups, with strong attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting functions; familiarity with ERP systems is preferred.
  • Ability to generate and interpret sales reports, including pipeline/funnel analysis, inventory tracking, receivables/overdues monitoring, and performance dashboards.
