Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our diagnostics sales function. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing and mentoring a high-performing sales team, and building strong relationships with healthcare providers, laboratories, and key stakeholders. This role requires strategic thinking, deep industry knowledge, and a strong focus on achieving sales and collection targets.

Key Responsibilities1. Revenue Generation & Target Achievement

  • Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue and collection targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and implement corrective actions when needed.
  • Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team goals.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Drive capability building through training and development initiatives.
  • Sales Strategy & Process Management
  • Design and implement effective sales strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to refine strategies.
  • Ensure efficient sales processes, pipeline management, and forecasting accuracy.
  • Customer Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including hospitals, diagnostic labs, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Handle key negotiations and resolve escalated customer issues.
  • Compliance & Reporting
  • Ensure adherence to industry regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses for senior management.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum 10+ years of sales experience in the diagnostics or healthcare industry, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of diagnostic tests, laboratory operations, lab automation, or medical devices.
