Role Summary
We are seeking a Sales Manager who will drive revenue growth within assigned territories. This role requires a results-oriented professional with experience in data engineering, AI, and analytics solutions, capable of managing end-to-end sales cycles and delivering tangible value to enterprise clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrated experience in managing the full sales cycle for cloud, data engineering, and AI-driven analytics solutions.
- Support achievement of quarterly and annual sales targets through effective lead management and deal closure.
- Execute go-to-market plans developed at the regional level, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Monitor competitor activities and customer feedback to refine sales approach.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue business opportunities through proactive prospecting.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
- Collaborate with presales and delivery teams to prepare proposals, respond to RFPs/RFIs, and ensure smooth handover post-closure.
- Develop strong working relationships with client stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Coordinate with ecosystem partners such as AWS, Databricks, and Adobe to develop joint sales opportunities.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Proven success in Cloud or Data Solution Sales (AWS, Azure, GCP, or equivalent).
- Domain exposure across BFSI, CPG, Pharma, or Manufacturing is preferred.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate technology into ROI-driven outcomes.
- In-depth understanding of enterprise buying cycles, consultative sales, and RFP processes.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- High-energy performer who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-driven environment.
- A strong network of CIOs, CTOs, and Digital Transformation leaders is an advantage.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, Business, or Marketing (MBA preferred).
- Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP) or prior experience in data/AI domains are a strong plus.
