Sales Manager - Chemicals

Job description

Role & responsibilities

Develops and manages sales pipelines with prospective clients.

Lead outbound sales activities with existing and potential clients.

Own the sales process from initial lead identification through final sales closing.

Present demos and pitch solutions during in-person visits, and follow up after meetings.

Review sales leads and view key sales information on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis

Generate monthly reports on sales activities and forecast sales goals

Ensure meeting or exceeding sales objectives and budgets

Build and ensure strong customer relationships.

Preferred candidate profile

Demonstrable sales experience in the chemicals industry.

Multiple product application experience (Pharmaceutical API & Ingredients, Food & Personal Care Ingredients,

and Oleochemical Esters & Fine Chemicals) will be preferred.

Familiar with GMP, FDA, FSSAI, and RSPO certifications, among others.

Demonstrable negotiation, presentation, and communication skills

Demonstrable ability to organize, plan, and possess the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

Comfortable with digital platforms and tools.

Willing to travel extensively.

Proactive in offering inputs and contributing to new ideas of marketing, identifying new markets, and

suggesting marketing strategies.
