About the Role

We are the monetization partner for a premium, high-intent travel and consumer platform. We manage and commercialize an elite suite of digital assets, including high-traffic mobile apps, web ecosystems, and contextual data.

We are seeking a commercially driven Ad Sales manager to own the revenue roadmap for this premium digital inventory. You will evangelize our unique audience, secure large-scale investments from top brand advertisers, and drive strategic alliances with major media agencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Revenue Generation: Own and consistently exceed quarterly and annual ad-revenue targets across all digital and contextual inventory.
  • Agency & Brand Sales: Build deep-level relationships with media planning/buying heads at major holding groups and close high-value annual upfronts directly with CMOs.
  • Consultative Pitching: Craft data-driven, bespoke media proposals that align our audience reach with client marketing objectives.
  • Yield Optimization: Partner with internal ad-ops to maximize inventory utilization and optimize eCPMs across direct and programmatic channels (PMPs, PG deals).
  • Market Intelligence: Feed advertiser insights back to the product team to help shape future ad formats and data-targeting capabilities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: 5–7 years in Digital Ad Sales, Media Sales, or Publisher Monetization.
  • Network: A strong, active rolodex of contacts across media agencies and direct brand marketers.
  • Industry Knowledge: Sharp understanding of the digital media landscape, first-party data utilization, display/video, and programmatic ecosystems.
  • Commercial Drive: Proven track record of independently managing a pipeline, pitching to leadership, and closing high-value media deals.
