About the Role
- Drive new business growth by identifying and acquiring new customers and strategic partners the US (Mid to West Coast) in the API and CDMO market.
- Expand our client's APIs footprint through targeted market development and opportunity conversion, ensuring sustainable revenue growth.
- Position and promote our client's API portfolio and CDMO capabilities to strengthen visibility, competitiveness, and customer preference.
- Own the complete business acquisition process – from lead generation, RFQs, proposals, and qualification to negotiation and deal closure – in alignment with the Global Head of Sales & BD.
- Negotiate and finalize commercial agreements (supply, license, or CDMO contracts) in close collaboration with Legal and Sales leadership.
Your Qualifications
- BS or MSc in a scientific discipline (Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, or similar); A business qualification (e.g. MBA) is a plus.
- +10 years experience in the pharmaceutical API sector, with a proven record of driving sales growth and new business development in the US (Mid to West Coast).
- Deep understanding of the generic pharmaceutical market, including regulatory and commercial pathways for API approval and integration into finished dosage forms.
- Technically fluent, with the ability to translate complex scientific, quality, and regulatory topics into clear commercial opportunities. Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory frameworks, importation requirements, and compliance standards relevant to ANDA/NDA filings.
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and result-focused mindset, willing to build and maintain trusted client relationships.
Salary range: 20 LPA + Bonus
