Position: Modern Trade Sales Manager

Location: Delhi / Chandigarh

About the Role

Shree Mishthan is seeking a highly motivated and result-oriented Modern Trade Sales Manager to drive sales growth, strengthen key retail partnerships, and expand the brand's presence across Modern Trade channels. The ideal candidate should have experience in FMCG/Food industry sales and a strong understanding of Modern Trade operations.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Drive sales growth and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies for Modern Trade accounts.
  • Expand product listings and increase shelf visibility across retail chains.
  • Identify new business opportunities within the Modern Trade segment.

Key Account Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Modern Trade retailers and key stakeholders.
  • Manage negotiations related to commercial terms, promotions, listings, and annual business plans.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with retail partners to improve performance.

Trade Marketing & Promotions

  • Plan and execute in-store promotions, product launches, and visibility campaigns.
  • Ensure effective implementation of trade marketing initiatives.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams to maximize brand presence and customer engagement.

Distribution & Operations

  • Monitor stock availability and ensure optimum inventory levels across accounts.
  • Work closely with supply chain and operations teams to minimize stock-outs.
  • Track product movement and implement corrective actions when required.

Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, business reports, and performance reviews.
  • Recommend strategies to improve market share and profitability.

Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Modern Trade Sales, preferably in FMCG/Food & Beverage.
  • Strong relationships with Modern Trade chains and retail partners.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and sales reporting tools.
  • Ability to travel as required.
