We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Manager for our freight forwarding division in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and a deep understanding of the logistics and freight forwarding industry. This role involves developing sales strategies, building client relationships, and driving revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies for freight forwarding services.
  • Identify and target potential clients in the logistics and supply chain sector.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients.
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with customers.
  • Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • 2-12 years of experience in sales, preferably in freight forwarding or logistics.
  • Strong understanding of freight forwarding processes and logistics industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to close deals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
