JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Sales Intern

Location: Remote

Duration: 4 Months

Type: Internship (Full-time)

Stipend: No Stipend / Unpaid

About the Role

We are looking for a driven and result-oriented Sales Intern to support our business development and revenue efforts at Linkific. This role is ideal for someone who wants to understand how real sales work in a startup environment—lead generation, client conversations, follow-ups, and closing support.

You will work closely with the founders and sales team to learn how value-based selling, relationship building, and deal execution happen in practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in lead generation through LinkedIn, email, and other outbound channels.
  • Research potential clients and maintain lead databases.
  • Support in outreach activities, follow-ups, and scheduling sales calls.
  • Help prepare pitch decks, proposals, and sales documents.
  • Observe and assist in sales calls, demos, and client discussions.
  • Track sales activities, responses, and conversion metrics.
  • Coordinate with marketing and operations teams to align outreach efforts.
  • Learn and follow sales scripts, SOPs, and internal playbooks.

Required Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confidence in speaking with new people.
  • Basic understanding of sales, business, or marketing concepts.
  • Ability to handle rejection and stay consistent.
  • Good written English and professional communication etiquette.
  • Comfortable using tools like Google Sheets, Docs, and email.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with LinkedIn outreach or cold emailing.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Zoho, Notion, etc.).
  • Interest in startups, SaaS, AI, or automation solutions.
  • Previous experience in sales, marketing, or business development (optional).

Educational Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or any related field.
  • Students from any background with strong interest in sales are welcome.
