Sales Internship JOB DESCRIPTION

Stipend Rs 15000-20000/-

Role Overview

As a Sales Intern, you will support the business development and sales team in identifying potential startup clients, engaging with founders, and assisting in converting leads into active fundraising opportunities. This role offers hands-on exposure to startup sales, investor outreach, and the fundraising lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Identify and generate leads (startups, founders, SMEs) through online research, LinkedIn, and databases

Reach out to potential clients via calls, emails, LinkedIn messages, and WhatsApp

Explain capitalCORN's services related to fundraising, investor connect, and startup advisory

Qualify leads based on funding stage, business model, and growth potential

Schedule meetings between startup founders and the core sales team

Maintain and update CRM and lead trackers regularly

Follow up with prospects and maintain strong client relationships

Support sales reporting and performance tracking using Excel

Skills & Competencies Required

Strong communication and persuasion skills

Confidence in speaking with startup founders and decision-makers

Basic understanding of startups, funding stages, and business models

Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and MS Office

Result-oriented, proactive, and target-driven mindset

Ability to handle rejections and work in a fast-paced environment
