Role Overview
The Sales Intern will support the sales team by calling, qualifying, and following up with inbound and outbound leads, ensuring proper documentation and smooth handover to the core sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Call assigned leads daily from CRM / Excel / Google Sheets
- Understand customer requirements (product, quantity, frequency, delivery location)
- Explain Bulkmein's offerings:
- Bulk procurement (low MOQ)
- Private labelling options
- Product categories and pricing structure
- Qualify leads and identify hot / warm / cold prospects
- Schedule follow-up calls and reminders
- Share leads with sales executives for order closure
- Update call outcomes and notes accurately in the tracker
- Coordinate with the sales team for quotations and samples
- Follow basic sales scripts and improve pitch over time
Skills & Requirements
- Good verbal communication skills (English + Hindi; regional language is a plus)
- Confidence in speaking to business owners and purchase managers
- Basic knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets
- Willingness to learn B2B sales and negotiation
- Target-driven mindset
- Ability to handle rejection professionally
