Job Description:

One of the leading names MNC into Cables & Wires Manufacturing.

Job Requirements:

  1. 8-12 years of experience in cable accessories, cable management industry.
  2. Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (preferred).
  3. Job Location Mumbai, Maharashtra

Mandatory Requirement:

  1. Strong background in cable accessories or cable management
  2. Strong understanding of LV/MV/HV accessories, installation environments, and customer pain points.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development & Market Creation

  • Identify and build new business opportunities across utilities, EPC contractors, industrial segments, OEMs, and project ecosystem
  • Immediate approvals from State utilities, private utilities, consultants & Industries and ETCs.
  • Actively engage in ground-level market mappingcovering consultants, contractors, installers, and influencers critical for specification and product pull.
  • Lead Spec-in-work to get company Cable Accessories specified, approved, and adopted by key decision makers and potential customers
  • Create primary demand and favorable conditions for company Cable accessories by conducting demos, technical sessions, and influencer engagement.

2. Sales Execution & Revenue Growth

  • Own the regional sales numbers for the LV/MV cable accessories portfolio.
  • Develop and execute a regional gotomarket plan focusing on both direct and channel-driven sales.
  • Build and manage a distributor/partner network aligned with company's new-business strategy.
  • Deliver revenue, margin, and collection targets with strong discipline and customer focus.

3. Customer Development & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with utilities, industries, EPCs, consultants, and government bodies.
  • Conduct regular customer visits, product presentations, competitive comparisons, and proposal discussions.
  • Provide end-to-end support across presales, technical clarifications, and commercial negotiations.

4. Ground Execution & Market Intelligence

  • Track competitor presence, pricing, approvals, and market shifts.
  • Build regional insights covering demand patterns, installation trends, and upcoming project pipelines.
  • Feed insights back to product and central teams to refine offerings, pricing, and GTM strategy.

5. Product & Technical Enablement

  • Work with internal product/technical teams to drive:
  • customer approvals
  • technical presentations
  • installation best practices
  • root cause analysis support (if required)
  • Ensure that regional customers understand product features, certifications, differentiation, and value proposition.

6. Building the Foundation for Scale

  • Help create the initial processes, documentation, reporting formats, and partner frameworks for the new business.
  • Actively contribute to territory planning, labour planning, and GTM frameworks.
  • Mentor firstline sales staff as the business scales.
