Job Summary

Aristo India is seeking a dynamic and strategic Regional Sales Head to lead our Tamil Nadu operations. The ideal candidate will bring 15-20 years of progressive sales leadership experience, preferably within the South Indian market, with a strong record of driving revenue growth, building key client relationships, and managing high-performing sales teams. An MBA in Sales or a related field is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy Development
  • Formulate and implement long-term and short-term sales strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Ensure sales strategies reflect current market trends and business objectives.
  • Sales Forecasting and Performance Review
  • Develop accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.
  • Establish a structured review mechanism incorporating Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to ensure consistent achievement of sales targets.
  • Client and Dealer Relationship Management
  • Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with dealers, distributors, and key customers.
  • Negotiate and close high-value deals to meet or exceed sales objectives.
  • Team Leadership and Development
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the regional sales team to achieve individual and team targets.
  • Analyze performance metrics, identify skill gaps, and conduct training sessions based on RCA and CAPA findings.
  • Market Research and Expansion
  • Identify and explore new market opportunities, dealers, and customer segments.
  • Stay updated on market behavior, competitor activities, and emerging trends.
  • Sales Reporting and Insights
  • Prepare and present detailed sales reports and forecasts to management.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on sales data and market analysis.
  • Team SWOT Analysis
  • Conduct periodic SWOT analyses for the sales team and implement development plans to enhance performance.
  • Client Satisfaction and Retention
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by understanding client needs and providing timely solutions.
  • Foster loyalty and retention through exceptional post-sales support and relationship management.
  • Revenue Growth
  • Drive revenue growth through up-selling, cross-selling, and introduction of new product lines.
  • Identify opportunities to increase business volume and profitability.
  • Strategic Account Planning
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve mutual business goals, including revenue expansion and client satisfaction.
  • Customer Advocacy
  • Lead initiatives to understand customer pain points and ensure customized, value-driven solutions.
  • Risk Management
  • Identify potential risks in key accounts and implement proactive measures and contingency plans.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with internal teams-marketing, product development, and customer support-to deliver seamless customer experiences.
  • Market Insights and Competitor Analysis
  • Continuously monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify growth opportunities.
  • Long-Term Relationship Building
  • Position yourself as a trusted business advisor by understanding client goals and providing strategic partnership support.

Qualifications

  • MBA in Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 15-20 years of proven sales experience, preferably within the South Indian market.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing regional sales teams.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building abilities.
