Job Objective:
The Sales Force & Business Development Manager will be responsible for strengthening frontline sales capability across metro markets by delivering hands-on, field-based coaching and structured sales development programs. This role goes beyond classroom training and focuses on real-time skill enhancement through joint field visits, territory mapping support, and scientific selling excellence for originator molecules. The incumbent will act as a performance enabler, ensuring execution discipline, improved detailing quality, and measurable sales impact.
This role requires extensive travel. 80% workdays will be in field visit with sales representatives.

Key Responsibility Areas
- Conduct field coaching visits with MRs (HSEs and KAMs)
- Assess and improve scientific detailing and product knowledge
- Identify skill gaps and create individual development plans
- Conduct structured classroom / virtual training programs
- Support territory planning and strategic account mapping
- Monitor improvement in KPIs post-training
- Drive CRM adoption and sales process discipline
- Join induction training for new joiners
- Submit training effectiveness reports with measurable outcomes

- Significant growth in secondary sales in coached territories

Education Qualification

Experience
- 5–10 years in pharmaceutical sales training OR High-performing ABM/RBM looking to transition into training
- Experience in handling originator/specialty molecules is strongly preferred.
