We are looking for a highly disciplined and execution-focused FP&A Analyst to independently own Sales financial reporting, budgeting, CAC tracking, incentive calculations, and projection maintenance.
About the Role
This is a hands-on, individual contributor role requiring strong Excel modelling skills, financial accuracy, and structured reporting discipline. This is not a strategy role. The focus is precision, governance, and execution.
Responsibilities
Annual Budget & AOP Support
- Prepare and maintain Annual Sales Budget and AOP sheets
- Allocate budgets across regions, cost heads, and headcount plans
- Maintain structured and stable financial templates
Monthly MIS & Cost Governance
- Deliver monthly Sales MIS within defined timelines
- Track revenue vs target and cost vs budget
- Maintain regional performance trackers
- Ensure complete reconciliation with source data
CAC & Cost Tracking
- Calculate and publish monthly CAC
- Maintain fixed vs variable cost clarity
- Flag 5% deviations from planned benchmarks
- Maintain supporting documentation
Incentive Governance
- Execute monthly incentive calculations (associate + manager level)
- Maintain slab logic documentation
- Ensure zero payout disputes due to internal calculation errors
- Maintain full audit trail
Projection & Trend Monitoring
- Update rolling revenue projections monthly
- Compare projection vs current trend
- Flag risk deviations 5% vs AOP
- Maintain structured scenario sheets
Governing Standard
- All financial outputs must maintain:
- 100% calculation accuracy
- Full reconciliation traceability
- Zero rework due to formula or data errors
Qualifications
- Strong financial modelling skills in Excel / Google Sheets
- High-precision execution discipline
- Experience handling sales-linked financial models
- Incentive payout execution experience
- Strong data reconciliation and version control discipline
- Exposure to sales cost structures and CAC calculations
- Ability to work independently without supervision
- Comfortable presenting numbers to senior stakeholders
Required Skills
- 35 years of relevant experience in Sales Finance / Revenue MIS / FP&A (execution-focused)
- Individual contributor (no team management exposure required)
- Primary preference - EdTech experience (sales-heavy environment)
- Secondary preference: NBFC / FinTech with sales incentive exposure
- Average tenure 2 years per company (startup exposure acceptable)
- Proven exposure to large sales teams and incentive-driven structures
