Company Description:
Tutedude is an e-learning platform founded by IIT Delhi alumni, focused on self-paced courses enhanced with 1:1 live doubt solving and personal mentorship. The platform combines the flexibility of recorded content with the interactivity of live sessions to deliver a comprehensive learning experience. By gamifying learning and offering rewards-based motivation, Tutedude aims to significantly improve course completion rates. Positioned between costly live-only platforms and impersonal recorded-only options, Tutedude offers an engaging, affordable, and flexible alternative for learners.
About the Role
We are looking for a Pre-Sales Executive to handle incoming calls through our CRM, make outgoing calls to people who have requested a callback, and maintain timely follow-ups with prospective learners.
You will understand learners requirements, answer their questions, recommend suitable courses, and guide them through enrollment. The role requires strong communication skills, organised lead management, and a consistent approach to follow-ups and conversions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Handle Incoming Calls
- Receive and attend to incoming calls through the CRM.
- Answer questions about courses, fees, curriculum, mentor support, certification, and enrollment.
- Understand the caller's learning goals and recommend relevant courses.
- Record important conversation details and update the lead status after each call.
- Coordinate with the relevant team for queries that require additional support.
2. Make Callback Calls
- Make outgoing calls to prospective learners who have requested a callback.
- Contact learners at their requested time wherever possible.
- Review available lead information before calling to make the conversation relevant.
- Explain course offerings clearly and address concerns that may affect enrollment.
- Log call outcomes and schedule the next action in the CRM.
3. Maintain Proper Follow-Ups
- Follow up consistently with interested learners who have not yet enrolled.
- Agree on a suitable follow-up time and maintain accurate reminders in the CRM.
- Complete scheduled follow-ups on time and avoid leaving leads unattended.
- Reconnect with learners whose calls were missed or unanswered, following the team's calling process.
- Maintain clear notes so that every follow-up builds on the previous conversation.
- Update each lead's status accurately, including interested, follow-up required, enrolled, or not interested.
4. Guide Learners Towards Enrollment
- Understand each learner's background, interests, and career goals before suggesting a course.
- Explain course benefits, pricing, and applicable refund conditions accurately.
- Address objections related to affordability, time commitment, course suitability, and learning support.
- Assist learners with the enrollment and payment process.
- Work towards assigned conversion, enrollment, and revenue targets.
- Avoid misleading claims or promises about placements, earnings, or refunds.
5. Maintain CRM Records and Team Coordination
- Keep complete and accurate records of incoming calls, callback attempts, and follow-ups.
- Ensure every active lead has a clear status and next action.
- Share daily updates on calls handled, pending callbacks, follow-ups, and enrollments.
- Report recurring learner concerns and obstacles to the team.
- Participate in training, call reviews, and performance discussions.
- Maintain 8.5 hours of login per working day and adhere to the assigned schedule.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent fluency in both Hindi and English (mandatory): you should be able to speak confidently and clearly in either language with learners from different backgrounds.
- Good listening skills and the ability to explain information simply.
- Confidence in handling incoming and outgoing calls.
- Ability to address objections professionally and guide learners without pressuring them.
- Strong organisation and time-management skills.
- Comfort using CRM software, calling tools, and basic spreadsheets.
- Ability to manage multiple leads and complete follow-ups on time.
- Willingness to learn Tutedude's course offerings and policies.
- A responsible approach to attendance, punctuality, and targets.
- Prior experience in pre-sales, telesales, education counselling, or customer support is preferred. Freshers with strong communication skills may also apply.
Performance Expectations
Performance will be evaluated based on:
- Responsiveness to incoming calls and callback requests.
- Timely completion of scheduled follow-ups.
- Quality and accuracy of learner conversations.
- Lead-to-enrollment conversions and achievement of assigned targets.
- Accuracy of CRM records and lead statuses.
- Attendance and adherence to the required login hours.
Compensation and Schedule
- Monthly salary: 20,000–22,000, based on interview performance.
- Daily login requirement: 8.5 hours per working day.
- Shift timings, working days, weekly off, and break arrangements will be communicated during the hiring process.
Ideal Candidate
You enjoy speaking with people, understanding their needs, and helping them make informed decisions. You are comfortable handling regular calls, maintaining accurate records, and following up consistently to turn learner interest into enrollments.
