Job Description: Sales Executive
Location: Nadiad, Vadodara, Vapi, Ahmedabad (West), Mehsana, Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad (East), Rajkot, Morbi, Bhuj, Dahod, Kapadvanj
Key Responsibilities
- Specimen Distribution (Canvassing):
- Visit schools and interact with trustees, principals, supervisors, and teachers to provide information about current and new books.
- Request recommendations to students and assist in booklist preparation.
- Obtain specimen acknowledgment on canvassing forms signed and stamped by school authorities.
- Booklist/Orders Preparation:
- Review last year's order history, prepare new year orders, determine the number of students, finalize titles, discounts, delivery dates, payments, and add new titles.
- Coordinate booklist printing through HO or local press.
- Promotional Material Distribution:
- Distribute diaries, wall calendars, planners, and classroom promotional materials for students.
- Collection:
- Follow up on outstanding amounts, extra discounts, and PDC depositions. Visit booksellers for specific collections.
- NPPN Activities:
- Enroll schools/SVS, manage indents, distribute exam programs, and handle collections and account processes.
- Sponsorship:
- Facilitate sponsorships for schools based on sales, including preparing documents, approvals, and payments.
- Event Participation:
- Participate in school events, principal and teacher programs, book exhibitions, and press visits.
- Competitor Analysis:
- Focus on converting schools using competitor products, follow up for conversions, gather approval requirements, and share competitor activity updates.
- Reporting:
- Prepare daily visit reports, blueprints, MJP reports, expense statements, and submit canvassing forms.
- Communication:
- Engage with customers through personal visits, phone calls, and WhatsApp for orders, collections, NPPN activities, and advertisements.
- Booksellers Visit:
- Show current, upcoming, and new books, manage orders, execute booklists, distribute specimen copies, and process returns.
- Specimen Indents:
- Prepare school-wise specimen requirement indents and deliver materials as per school authority requests.
- Database Management:
- Maintain a territory database, including schools, classes, booksellers, and route plans.
- Meetings Participation:
- Attend team meetings, MJP meetings, and annual sales meetings.
- Focus/Key Accounts:
- Install software for key schools, generate keys, and manage orders.
Requirements
- Strong communication, relationship management, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in reporting, database management, and promotional activities.
- Willingness to travel extensively across assigned territories.
