Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Professional to join our team, specializing in Data Center & IT Infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth through strategic sales initiatives, engaging with B2B channel partners, corporate clients, and system integrators. This role requires a blend of technical understanding and commercial acumen to promote, present, and close deals for data center infrastructure, UPS systems, and IT solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Business Development
- Proactively generate new business leads and drive sales of data center solutions, including UPS, cooling, racks, power systems, and IT/network infrastructure.
- Develop and manage strong relationships with system integrators, B2B channel partners, consultants, and corporate clients.
- Deliver compelling presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions to showcase the company's capabilities and solutions.
2. Client Relationship Management
- Build long-term partnerships through regular engagement, service excellence, and consultative selling.
- Serve as the key point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring prompt resolution of client queries and needs.
3. Market Intelligence & Strategy
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, competitor strategies, and emerging opportunities.
- Provide inputs for product positioning, pricing strategies, and marketing initiatives based on market feedback.
4. Proposal Development & Contract Negotiation
- Collaborate with pre-sales and technical teams to develop tailored proposals, RFP responses, and solution designs.
- Negotiate commercial terms and close deals that align with company goals and customer expectations.
5. Sales Performance & Reporting
- Meet or exceed assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Maintain and report a healthy sales pipeline, forecasts, and activity updates using CRM and internal systems.
6. Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with internal departments including project management, technical support, SCM, and marketing.
- Participate in promotional activities, product launches, and client engagement events.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, or IT) or Business Administration. MBA is a plus.
- Experience:
- 0 to 5+ years of experience in sales, preferably in data center infrastructure, UPS solutions, networking, or IT infrastructure domains.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Understanding of key infrastructure elements including UPS, precision cooling, structured cabling, racks, firewalls, network switches, ATS, and server rooms.
- Skills & Attributes:
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of managing a consultative sales process.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and sales reporting.
