The candidate for this position will excel at creating and closing new opportunities. By using a consultative approach to selling, this person will use their expertise to identify and qualify leads, leading to sales opportunities with both new and existing customers.
Roles and Responsibilities:-
1. Visit local retailers, grocery stores, restaurants, and markets to pitch and sell our spice products.
2. Conduct product demonstrations and tastings where applicable.
3. Build and maintain relationships with shopkeepers, chefs, and purchasing managers.
4. Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
5. Report customer feedback and market trends to the sales manager.
6. Keep track of inventory, product samples, and promotional materials.
Eligibility Criteria:-
1. 12 years of experience in field sales or retail (FMCG or food industry preferred).
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Self-motivated and target-driven.
4. Ability to travel locally and manage multiple accounts.
5. Basic knowledge of spices, food, or cooking is a plus.
6. Must be comfortable with physical activity, such as visiting multiple locations daily
