Job Description

We're hiring a Sales Executive to lead sales, onboarding, and ecosystem development of our biomass fuel marketplace in Gujarat. You will play a key role in identifying industrial buyers, onboarding them to the platform, closing biomass fuel deals, and driving adoption of our tech-enabled sourcing process. This is a high-impact, entrepreneurial role where you'll be responsible for building and owning the market in your assigned region.

Key Responsibilities:Sales & Client Acquisition
  • Identify and engage industrial buyers (boiler operators, thermal plant managers, procurement heads) who can shift to or scale biomass fuel usage.
  • Promote the benefits of sourcing through our marketplacebetter pricing, verified suppliers, flexible logistics.
  • Drive end-to-end sales from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring a steady sales pipeline.
Marketplace Onboarding & Activation
  • Onboard industrial clients onto the digital platform and guide them through their first transactions.
  • Educate users on how to post requirements, review quotes, and manage orders via the platform.
  • Collect feedback to improve platform adoption and user experience.
Regional Market Development
  • Build the biomass demand ecosystem in the region, including mapping of industries, seasonal trends, and usage patterns.
  • Work with the supply and logistics teams to ensure product availability and timely delivery.
  • Represent the platform at trade events, industry meets, and local clusters.
Reporting & Collaboration
  • Maintain accurate data in CRM and share weekly performance reports.
  • Coordinate with the internal operations, verification, and support teams for smooth order fulfillment.
  • Contribute to pricing strategy, regional campaigns, and partnerships.

Requirements:
  • 25 years of B2B industrial sales experience (biomass, solid fuels, energy, or related preferred).
  • Strong understanding of regional industrial clusters and thermal fuel users.
  • Proven ability to work independently and build markets from scratch.
  • Comfortable with digital platforms and client onboarding processes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Fluency in local language and willingness to travel extensively.
